Carolita Oliveros

Ms. Oliveros is an author, speaker, and international business attorney focused on working with clients in international business, e-commerce, international distribution and marketing of products and services, technology and intellectual property protection, real estate investments and social entrepreneurial endeavors. She holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida, a Master's degree from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona College of Law.


She is a recipient of the U. S. Department of Commerce Award for Business Leader of the Year for her career in the international corporate world. She has authored numerous articles on international business and e-commerce related topics including “Overview of Global Internet Distribution Laws” and a book entitled International Distribution Issues: Overview Of International Trade And Competitiveness Laws.


Ms. Oliveros has developed an international network of business professionals through positions she held as Vice President of Corporate Affairs and General Counsel for Decisions Investment Corp., owner and operator of Biosphere 2, and General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary at Burr-Brown Corporation, a multi-national electronics manufacturing company (now owned by Texas Instruments).


For ten years she was an instructor in the Maguire Entrepreneurship Program at The University of Arizona (Tucson, AZ) and the Entrepreneurship Program at Thunderbird – American Graduate School of International Management (Glendale, AZ). She is the author of courses on Leading a Non-Profit Organization; co-author of the Rich Dad Personal Finance Course, which she co-authored for The Rich Dad Company; and founder and author/developer of seminars, workshops and coaching programs on Recession Proof Financial Strategies™.


She is co-chair of the Arizona District Export Council (an appointment by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce); past chair of the Arizona World Trade Fair and past chair of the Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce International Trade Committee. Ms. Oliveros consults with numerous investors and companies on business development, technology and intellectual property, real estate and legal matters and is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars.
